ROTAX has updated the published list of all reported stolen ROTAX® aircraft engines

How does this affect me?

A number of new and used ROTAX® aircraft engines have been reported stolen. Please be aware that in the past, stolen engines have been fraudulently advertised in classified ads, on internet bulletin boards and social media.

What do I do about it?

If you are considering the purchase of a new or used ROTAX® aircraft engine from outside of the official ROTAX® dealer network, be sure to check the engine serial number against this list.

An SI-PAC gives the owner/maintainer a single source of information for non-certified items. The information includes the description, applicability, parts list, installation and servicing instructions. As the SI-PAC’s are released, these items (such as regulator connector sets) will be removed from the certified publications (such as Illustrated Parts Catalog, Installation Manual, and Maintenance Manuals).

In the course of product maintenance and expansion of our spare parts program, a new connector set (part no. 881240) has been made available

How does this affect me?

If your aircraft is equipped with a ROTAX® i-Series (fuel-injected) aircraft engine, you may be interested in obtaining this wiring harness Parts kit (connector set airframe side, HIC/X3). This kit is not for the carbureted engines (912, 912S, or 914 series). If you already have the kit then you should familiarize yourself and/or have your aircraft maintenance provider become familiar with the contents of this document.

Download and review this Service Instruction. If your aircraft has (or you plan to use) any of the listed parts or accessories covered by this SI-PAC, you and/or your aircraft maintenance provider should carefully review the document before installation or maintenance.
