You might be asking, why a Bose A20 headset would be included in the package? Rotax reached an agreement with Bose to include a Bose A20 headset with every engine that is purchased with extended warranty (Rotax Care)* (*some exclusions apply). For pilots who fly the pants off their aircraft or flight schools, the package could make sense especially when you factor in the headset. Rotax Care extends the standard warranty out to 5 years or TBO, whichever comes first. As of today it’s only available to a new 912iS purchase in the Americas but nevertheless could be a good option to get yourself a Bose A20 if you don’t end up winning the Rotax-owner raffle.
